Download our app or visit our Service Areas page to see if your zip code has been added to our service area.
Fuel Mule Fillup charges a membership fee PLUS gasoline. Memberships are billed monthly at $24.95 per household. This includes up to 5 tanks (cars, trucks, boats, lawnmowers, approved fuel containers, or any other equipment requiring gasoline). Discounts are offered if you pay for the full year upfront. Gasoline is charged the day of service and prices vary day-to-day depending on the market. For fleet and commerical accounts, please contact admin@fuelmulefillup.com.
Fuel Mule Fillup prices our gasoline comparably to other local vendors. Unlike the corner gas station, our prices change daily with the market. We have no additional fuel reserves to sell before our prices go up or down. What’s in the truck is what we have until our next Fillup at our supplier. Almost every gas station you see has underground storage tanks capable of holding 5,000-25,000+ gallons of gasoline. That gasoline was purchased at a certain price and must be sold at a certain price before the station can change their price without taking a loss. At times, Fuel Mule may be more or less expensive than competitors for this very reason. Our prices will change with the market faster than anyone else.
Fuel Mule Fillup uses the same equipment as your local gas station. The pumps, meters, and hoses are all the same. The only difference is ours is on a truck. The truck and equipment must meet more Department of Transportation requirements than a typical gas station since it is mobile.
Delivery days’ work just like your trash pickup. Fuel Mule Fillup’s has twice-weekly routes. Monday/Thursday, Tuesday/Friday, and Wednesday/Saturday. Once you have completed your customer profile and account, a delivery route will be assigned that corresponds with one of these schedules. You will receive a push notification and/or an email to remind you of your delivery date. Note: there may be times a scheduled route will be reassigned or postponed, depending on demand. We will notify you if this occurs. Fleet routes may vary.
Our delivery technicians will open your fuel door just as you would if you were pumping your gasoline at the station.
IF YOUR FUEL DOOR LOCKS, you must leave the fuel door ajar for the technician to gain access!
IF YOUR FUEL DOOR LOCKS WITH THE CENTRAL LOCKING MECHANISM of your vehicle, please pop the fuel door open and then lock your vehicle (you may lower your fuel door, so it is slightly ajar, but not completely closed).
IF YOUR FUEL DOOR OPENS WITH AN INTERIOR LEVER, please pull the lever, and leave your fuel door open in a similar fashion when locking your vehicles. Delivery technicians will not access your vehicle to pull the lever even if you leave it unlocked.
IF YOUR VEHICLE IS PARKED INSIDE A GARAGE, we prefer the vehicle is parked outside the night of your delivery.
Your vehicle should be parked in an open space, on a solid surface, with the fuel door left ajar (if it locks). Ideally, on your driveway within 75 feet of the road. If your vehicle is more than 75 ft away from the road, we may need to back our truck onto your property to reach your vehicle. Our technicians cannot complete your Fillup if your vehicle is parked in an enclosed space without proper airflow. Some garages/carports may be serviceable, please contact us to schedule a site visit.
Fuel Mule Fillup’s residential routes start at 6 PM and run overnight. Routes should be completed by 6 AM. This allows your vehicle to be serviced without inconveniencing you. Fleet and business vehicles can get their Fillup either day or night, depending on their downtimes.
You will receive a push notification on your delivery date. In the app under “Upcoming Deliveries”, you may select either “Accept” or “Deny” for each vehicle listed on your account. You must respond to your delivery prompt by 5 PM on your delivery day. If you do not respond to the prompt by this time, then "Deny" will automatically be selected. It is okay to “Accept” the delivery for one vehicle and “Deny” for the others.
A Fillup can take anywhere from 2-4 minutes per vehicle. Service times may vary based on your tank size and how far your vehicle(s) is away from the road.
Fuel Mule Fillup currently delivers unleaded regular (87 octane) and unleaded premium (93 Octane) gasoline. We have plans to add diesel in the near future. Depending on demand, other fuel types may be added.
After your Fillup is complete, you will receive an email with a receipt detailing your delivery. You can find a history of past Fillups, along with their details, under the "Delivery Schedule" tab in the app. Click on any past delivery day, then click which vehicle you would like to view, and view your receipt.
We know that not everyone can think of every problem that may arise. Fuel Mule Fillup will deliver in most weather circumstances, unless the weather becomes too dangerous (high winds, lightning strikes, hail, etc.) for our technicians and/or customers. In those instances, we will cancel delivery until your next scheduled route. In the rare event that your route is canceled, your account will be credited for the missed time. We have twice-weekly routes, so rest assured you are only a few days away from your next scheduled Fillup.
The safety of you, your vehicle(s), your property, and Fuel Mule Fillup’s technicians is of utmost importance. Safety is always first! Our technicians have been trained and certified to run the Fuel Mule Fillup delivery truck. All delivery technicians carry a state issued CDL with HAZMAT and tank truck endorsements. They also undergo state required physicals, drug testing and additional HAZMAT training.
Fuel Mule Fillup provides additional safety training for all technicians throughout the year. Each truck must undergo a thorough inspection before each route begins and at intervals throughout the delivery to ensure the safety of everyone around. In the event a truck would not pass an inspection for any reason, that truck will be taken out of service until all issues have been repaired.
Fuel Mule Fillup’s tanks, pumps, meters, and other equipment are designed and fitted to meet and exceed Department of Transportation and State of Florida strict guidelines. All the equipment has been inspected and approved by the proper agencies and must pass periodic inspections as time goes on.
All trucks are also equipped with properly rated fire extinguisher(s) and technicians are properly trained in their use if a fire does breakout.
Our Fillup trucks prefer to stay on paved surfaces, however, in some instances, we can deliver on hard-packed sand/dirt/gravel roads. This will be determined at our discretion. If your road looks like it should have double red flags flying and there is a high probability that our truck may get stuck, then we cannot deliver fuel to you. If your road looks like there should be green flags flying, it is flat, and there is a very low probability that our truck will get stuck, then we may deliver fuel to you. Again, this will be solely at our discretion.
Whether it’s one gallon or ten, we will make sure your tank is full. We have a minimum charge of $5.00 per vehicle, per stop. If you accept your Fillup and your tank only needs $2.50 worth of gasoline, you will be charged the minimum of $5.00.
After signing up for an account on the app, go to the "Payment" section to input your credit card information. Your credit card will save to your profile and will only be charged after each service for the gasoline that you have received. Neither Fuel Mule or its' technicians have access to your credit card information. Through our innovative systems, the dispensed fuel will be measured, and your credit card will be charged without human input, making Fuel Mule Fillup the most accurate and safe billing system in the industry. Your membership will be billed 30, or 365 (dependent upon your selected plan) days after your initial selection, in the same manner.
You can cancel your membership at any time. There is no time-period obligation on you. You must cancel before your recurring billing date to avoid the next membership installment fee. To cancel your membership, visit the "Membership Plan" section in your app, click on the membership you wish to cancel, confirm your cancellations, and that's it.
You can cancel any previously accepted delivery up until 5 PM on your delivery day. There is no penalty for canceling before this time. However, you will be unable to cancel your delivery after the route has been created within our system at 5 PM. If our technician arrives at your location and your vehicle is not there, or your fuel door is inaccessible, you will be charged the minimum service fee.
Under the menu on the app, select the “Refer A Friend” page. Type in your friends’ email and you’re done.
Every time someone signs up using the code you sent them; you get a free months’ membership credit ($24.95). You will receive the credit on your account once they accept their first delivery. There is no limit to the number of free months that you can receive. Tell all of your friends and see if you can get a full year’s worth free!
Yes! However, if your boat is located behind your home/business or is stored over water, it will not be eligible for monthly membership. To fill these watercraft you must submit a request form on our website. Rules and restrictions apply.
